I was in Corsica, I am in love with that island, I go there often, as soon as I can. Exploring among the rocks I found myself on the edge of a large round hole several meters deep, communicating with the open sea. Looking from the shore towards the bottom that became darker and darker towards the center I had a feeling of fear and attraction at the same time. I thought of the soul's malaises, the dark moments and the happy ones, good and evil, this dualism that accompanies us all our lives. I thought: how can we fight our difficult moments of depression? For me the cure is always the simplicity of a life in contact with nature. The hands present in this work of mine do not want to inspire the terror of going to the bottom but the hope of going back up by clinging to nature. We learn to look at the little things around us and everything will change for the better, and the world will appear "Wonderful" as Domenico Modugno sang.
