Iuliana is a talented pencil artist born on February 22, 1996 in Constanta, Romania. From the time she was a child, she felt she had an artistic sense and love for pencil drawing. Her teachers recognized her talent and especially her father encouraged her in drawing, teaching her techniques and nurturing the idea that she could become an artist.
During the time of the pandemic and the restrictions caused by COVID-19, Iuliana felt a strong desire to express herself through that natural talent she had shelved and decided to take up again her old dream of becoming an artist. For her, drawing means entering a state where time no longer exists. She is fascinated by the idea of conveying emotions and moments of life through her work. For her, it is magical to see how a simple sheet of paper can become an entire universe. She feels like a spark in a great ocean that starts from her heart and feels grateful to have the gift of expressing what she feels on paper.
In her artwork, Iuliana tries to capture those moments she calls "daydreams," in which she gets lost in her deepest thoughts and makes a connection with herself. Through her talent, she tries to explore the intimacy of her own sensuality and convey a beautiful feeling of calm and serenity, thus offering a small drop of peace in the chaos of the mind. Her works reflect a sense of beauty and emotional depth, wanting to share special and personal moments that may be dreams, wishes or simple moments of serenity.
Through her talent and passion for drawing, Iuliana seeks to inspire others and make people connect with the emotions she conveys through her works. Her art is a form of personal expression and universal communication that aims to touch the heart and soul of the viewer.
